Purnululu National Park
The ancient Bungle Bungle Range (Purnululu National Park) is one of Australia’s most remarkable landscapes. Its iconic beehive-shaped domes are formed from layers of sandstone and conglomerate, slowly sculpted by wind and rain over more than 60 million years. Seen from the air, the intricate patterns, deep shadows and striped textures create an almost surreal landscape of natural geometry. Captured from a small plane, these images have been artistically processed to emphasise the abstract forms, rich earthy tones and sculptural beauty of the range, transforming an already extraordinary wilderness into a stylised aerial interpretation of one of Western Australia’s natural wonders.
